France’s justice Minister visits Algeria

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received French Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin on Monday during an official meeting in Algiers, accompanied by French Ambassador to Algeria Stéphane Romatet.

The meeting was attended by several senior Algerian officials, including Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmed Attaf, Justice Minister Lotfi Boudjemaa, Minister of State Ibrahim Merad, and presidential diplomatic adviser Ammar Abba.

The high-level talks come as Algeria and France continue efforts to manage a sensitive and closely watched bilateral relationship.
