Government discusses social map project and strategic national issues

The Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb chaired a government meeting dedicated to examining several key draft projects and national planning measures.

The session focused on a draft executive decree establishing safety rules for designated radiation sources and radioprotection standards. It also reviewed an executive plan to develop Algeria’s social map, based on structured indicators reflecting geographical and human realities across regions.

The meeting further addressed several strategic areas, including population structure, education, healthcare coverage, living conditions, access to basic services, mobility, regional cohesion, and environmental and climate vulnerability.
