New domestic flights set to connect more cities

Air Algérie’s domestic branch announced Saturday the launch of two new weekly air routes starting May 24 and 25, as authorities move to strengthen connections between several regions across the country.
The new services come under government efforts to improve domestic air travel and ease movement between northern and southern provinces.
The first route, operating every Sunday, will link Algiers, Oran and Timimoun before returning to the capital. A second weekly route, scheduled every Monday, will connect Algiers, Annaba and El Oued.
Officials say the new flights are designed to improve mobility for travelers and expand access to remote regions through more regular domestic connections.
