Organized drug ring dismantled in Algiers , 6000 capsules seized

Algiers security services have dismantled an organized criminal network of four individuals involved in the illegal trafficking of psychotropic substances, with nearly 6,000 capsules seized during the operation, according to an official statement.
The police, following intensive investigations in Rouiba, were able to identify and arrest the suspects one after another. The operation also led to the seizure of 5,940 capsules, 235,000 DA in proceeds, three vehicles used in trafficking, and four mobile phones.
The suspects were presented before the Rouiba court prosecutor on charges of illegal possession and trafficking of psychotropic substances as part of an organized criminal group, as well as money laundering.
