President Tebboune pushes constitutional reform agenda

In a message to an international legal forum, Abdelmadjid Tebboune reaffirmed Algeria’s commitment to strengthening constitutional justice and protecting fundamental rights.
Delivered by Leila Aslaoui, the address highlighted constitutional oversight as a key pillar of democracy aimed at reinforcing the rule of law, safeguarding freedoms, and building public trust.
Tebboune also stressed that recent reforms reflect a “living Constitution,” evolving with society while ensuring institutional stability and citizen participation.
