PSG survive Bayern firepower to seal Istanbul final date

Paris Saint‑Germain booked their place in the Champions League final with a tense 1–1 draw at Bayern Munich, completing a 6–5 aggregate victory after a dramatic semi‑final double‑header.
Ousmane Dembélé gave PSG the perfect start, firing home from a fierce Khvicha Kvaratskhelia cross inside the opening three minutes at the Allianz Arena. From there, Luis Enrique’s side dropped into a compact, disciplined shape, suffocating Bayern’s normally explosive attack and limiting them to few clear chances. Michael Olise came closest for the hosts in the first half, while Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia and substitute Bradley Barcola all tested Manuel Neuer at the other end.
Bayern’s pressure finally paid off in the 94th minute, when Harry Kane smashed in a left‑footed finish for a late consolation, but it was too little, too late. PSG held firm to seal their passage to Istanbul, where they will meet Arsenal in the final on 30 May setting up a showdown between two of Europe’s most attacking, high‑profile sides.
