Algeria Telecom wins prestigious European quality award

Algeria Telecom has earned international recognition after receiving the prestigious “Quality Achievements Award 2026” from the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), highlighting the company’s growing reputation for service excellence and innovation.
The award was presented to Algeria Telecom CEO Abdelghani Aït Saïd during a ceremony held in Brussels, bringing together business leaders, quality experts and diplomats from around the world.
The distinction honors organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to quality management and continuous improvement. It comes amid a series of achievements by Algeria Telecom, driven by an ambitious strategy focused on digital transformation, technological innovation and customer satisfaction.
Among the company’s recent milestones are the rollout of 7-WIFI technology, the expansion of high-quality Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) services and the renewal of its ISO 9001:2015 certification earlier this year.
Algeria Telecom also contributed to the organization of the Global Africa Tech Summit, hosted in Algeria in early 2026 under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
According to the company, the award reflects the efforts of its teams to deliver innovative connectivity solutions while supporting Algeria’s ambition to become a leading technology hub in Africa.
