Algeria welcomes US-Iran ceasefire framework deal

Algeria has welcomed the framework agreement reached between the United States and Iran to halt military operations in the Gulf and Middle East, describing the development as an important step toward easing regional tensions.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation for international mediation efforts, particularly those led by Pakistan and Qatar, and stressed the importance of all parties honoring the commitments outlined in the agreement.

Algeria also voiced hope that the deal will help build trust between the concerned parties and create favorable conditions for resolving outstanding issues, paving the way for lasting peace, security, and stability across the region.
