Blue Plan brings summer seaside fun to 5,000 children

Around 5,000 children in the wilaya of Rélizane are set to benefit from daily recreational trips to the beach during the 2026 summer season, according to the Directorate of Youth and Sports.

The “Blue Plan” summer program, aimed at offering seaside excursions to children aged 6 to 14 from across the regions , particularly those living in rural areas.

The program, supervised by local youth and sports institutions, will be rolled out in batches and includes cultural and recreational activities. It also involves mobilizing logistical and human resources to transport children to beaches in the neighboring wilaya of Mostaganem.

Set to run from early July to the end of August, the program will feature an average of three weekly trips, offering children the chance to enjoy summer activities by the sea.

Last year, about 3,000 children benefited from the same initiative, highlighting its growing reach and popularity.
