Education ministry operations unaffected after fire scare

Algeria’s Ministry of Education reassured the public on Wednesday that all services remain fully operational following a fire that broke out Tuesday evening at its headquarters. Officials said the blaze, triggered by an electrical spark in the ministry’s reception hall, was swiftly contained thanks to the rapid response of emergency teams.

The ministry emphasized that the incident caused no disruption to its activities, while thanking civil protection, police services, and other authorities for their coordinated intervention that secured the building and prevented further damage.
