Mild Earthquake Shakes Batna Region


A 3.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded Wednesday morning in Algeria’s Batna province, according to the National Center for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG).
The tremor struck at 10:44 a.m., with its epicenter located 6 kilometers southwest of Ain Djasser. No immediate reports of casualties or damage were issued following the quake.
