New Head appointed to higher war school

Acting on behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, Army General Saïd Chanegriha on Saturday oversaw the official installation ceremony of Major General Mohamed Ahmed Sayeh as the new director of Algeria’s Higher War School.

Major General Sayeh succeeds Major General Hamid Fekane at the helm of the prestigious military institution, according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defence.
