Sayoud holds security and transport talks in Paris

Algeria’s Interior and Transport Minister, Saïd Sayoud, kicked off a high-profile working visit to Paris on Monday, sitting down with his French counterpart, Laurent Nuñez, to talk bilateral strategy.

Heading a high-level delegation, Saïoud’s face-to-face with Nuñez opened up a broad working session focused on key shared interests specifically targeting cross-border security, local governance, and transport logistics.

The Paris meetings follow up on Nuñez’s recent trip to Algiers back in mid-February, signaling a concerted push by both governments to keep the momentum going on sensitive, mutual portfolios.
