Teaching safety through games with the civil protection

Ahead of World Children’s Day, Algeria’s Civil Protection organized a special event for children, combining fun activities with important lessons on safety and accident prevention.

Through games, contests, coloring workshops and interactive awareness sessions, young participants learned how to avoid common household hazards and adopt safe behaviors from an early age. The initiative also gave children a closer look at the work of Civil Protection teams and the vital role they play in protecting lives, property and the environment.

The event, organized in partnership with youth associations, Ooredoo and local authorities, allowed children to discover rescue equipment and emergency response operations firsthand.

Civil Protection officials said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote a culture of prevention among younger generations and strengthen public awareness of safety practices across society.
