2026 Univ registration goes fully digital
University registration will open for 2026 Baccalaureate graduates on July 15, with the entire process taking place online through a fully digital admissions platform, Higher Education Minister Kamel Baddari announced on Tuesday.
A major innovation this year is the introduction of an AI-powered smart guide designed to help students choose their academic paths. Equipped with a virtual assistant, weighted-average calculator and data-mining technology, the platform will provide personalised guidance based on each student’s profile and career interests.
The ministry is also expanding its academic offer with new programmes in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, digital systems interoperability, space systems engineering, and health sciences. As part of its digital transformation strategy, Algeria aims to train 30,000 state engineers in AI by 2030, while continuing to strengthen international partnerships and dual-degree programmes.
