Children of the moon swim under the Stars

In a heartwarming gesture of inclusion ,  Algiers  authorities organized special nighttime swimming sessions for the “Children of the Moon” children living with xeroderma pigmentosum, a rare genetic disorder that makes exposure to sunlight extremely dangerous.

Held under the safety of the night sky, the event offered these children a rare opportunity to enjoy the beach in complete freedom. The evening was filled with entertainment, games, and live performances, creating an atmosphere of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

The initiative reflects a meaningful commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their condition, can experience the simple pleasures of summer in a safe, welcoming, and caring environment.
