FLN leads parliamentary elections with 90 seats


Algeria’s provisional results for the July 2 parliamentary elections show a 21.24% voter turnout nationwide and 10.75% among Algerians living abroad, according to acting head of the National Independent Election Authority (ANIE), Karim Khelfane.
The National Liberation Front (FLN) emerged as the largest party, securing 90 of the 407 seats in the People’s National Assembly, according to the provisional results.
